Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, meet your guide and driver. Drive to Elsen Tasarkhai, also known as the Mini Gobi. Enjoy a camel riding experience on the sand dunes surrounded by steppe and mountains.

🗓 Day 2: Elsen Tasarkhai – Tsenkher Hot Springs

After breakfast, continue to Tsenkher Hot Springs, famous for its natural hot mineral water. Relax and enjoy the hot spring baths surrounded by forested hills.

🗓 Day 3: Tsenkher – Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake

Drive to Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, a beautiful freshwater lake formed by volcanic activity in the Khangai Mountains. Enjoy free time by the lake and light walking in nature.

🗓 Day 4: Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake – Ugii Lake

Travel to Ugii Lake, well known for birdlife and peaceful countryside scenery. Enjoy leisure time and optional activities around the lake.

🗓 Day 5: Ugii Lake – Terelj National Park (Horse Riding)

Drive to Terelj National Park, one of the most popular natural parks near Ulaanbaatar. Enjoy a horse riding experience, visit Turtle Rock, and explore the scenic valley.

🗓 Day 6: Terelj – Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, return to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to your hotel or the airport. Tour concludes.

Tour Details

Khongor sand dunes are 130km from Canyon of Yol. Khongor sand dunes are the most important sand mass of Gobi Gurvan Saïkhan National Park. Its area is more than 900 square kilometers. It’s one of the largest sandy areas of Mongolia.Overnight in the tourist camp.

It is located in Tsenkher soum of Arkhangai Province, about 30 km south of Tsetserleg City, at an elevation of 1,860 meters above sea level, at the foot of a forested mountain in a remote area.
The hot spring ranks second in Mongolia in terms of temperature and gushes from deep underground at a rate of up to 10 liters per second. Scientists believe it was formed during the Quaternary period. The spring emerges at a temperature of 86°C, without mixing with groundwater.

Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake is a freshwater lake formed when the flows of the North and South Terkhiin Rivers, originating from the Khangai Mountain Range, were blocked by solidified lava.

A small island lies in the middle of the lake, serving as a nesting ground for birds where they lay eggs. Even black geese can be seen during summer, diving up to 5 meters deep to feed on fish.
The lake’s only outlet becomes the Suman River, which flows for about 50 km before joining the Chuluut River.

Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake is located approximately 660 km from Ulaanbaatar, accessible by paved road.

Ugii lake is located in the centre of Mongolia,and in the territory of Arkhangai province is one of the biggest lakes of Mongolia and has 27 km squire area. Average depth is 6.64m, in some sections 15.3m, coastal length is 23.5m. Ugii lake abounds in various types of fish and birds, which creates a incredible natural beauty. Ugii Lake also provides a favorable condition for research work and traveling. Ugii Lake attracts travelers, tourists and nature researchers from Mongolia as well as from foreign countries. More than 150 types rare species of birds dwelling in Ugii lake.

Gorkhi Terelj National Park is located 65 km northeast of Ulaanbaatar by paved road. High granite stone mountains with forest-covered northern slopes, multitudes of wildflower meadows along with the spectacular shape rocks formed by wind is a favorite scenery for the visitors. Fast-flowing rivers and streams make the national park more beautiful.
